We're thrilled to announce that Mike McAllister has recently been promoted to Control Room and Patrol and Response Manager. Many of you will be familiar with Mike, as he's been a key part of our control room team for five and a half years.

We asked Mike about the anticipated challenges of his new role and what he’s most looking forward to in his new position.

Mike said: “Having worked alongside previous managers, I look forward to and feel confident in stepping up to this role. I know our clients well and have forged strong bonds with my colleagues. We work well together as a great team.

“One of the things I am looking forward to is helping to arrange workloads for the drivers so that these are easier for them to manage and they can work smarter.”

As well as acknowledging that this will be a new experience and learning curve, Mike says that he is looking forward to a new relationship with his team mates as their manager. "I understand them and will be available for them. If someone is finding something difficult, I will do whatever I can to help them, whether that be arranging extra training, time off or just a good catchup." He particularly thanked his colleagues for their great support for him in his promotion.

It's clear Mike is committed to supporting everyone and we're looking forward to his next chapter with 4 Site Security.
